Welcome to our Sri Lanka travel blog. Sri Lanka is hands down one of our favourite countries. It’s packed with adventure, wildlife and wonderful locals. It’s cheap, easy to get to and easy to get around. It’s even possible to visit 12 months of the year once you figure our their monsoon system.
Whether you’re travelling solo, a couple or an adventurous family, you’ll find lots of tips and advice to help you plan your trip. We travelled there with our kids when they were as young as five but it’s safe to even travel with young babies to Sri Lanka – the people there are very family orientated and love kids.
If you want to dig a little deeper into this fantastic country, consider including a volunteering project into your travels. On our last trip we volunteered with elephants in Sri Lanka which we can’t recommend enough.
